Still moving…

It’s been a long time…

But God is still moving among His people. These past two months I’ve heard several people talk about the need to gather and pray, and how this simple call is an often-overlooked catalyst to revival. When we submit ourselves to God, we allow God to reign. I’ve also heard people talking about how we need to come together to strengthen and encourage one another. 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Hebrews 10:24-25 come to mind as I pray that we would grasp how the Spirit is still moving us closer to Him and closer together.

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

As I read this verse again, each phrase brings anew an understanding of our deficiency in our approach toward God. Are we humbled? Do we pray? Are we seeking His face? Have we turned from our wicked ways?
